NSA Hall of Fame: Angela Salcido (2023)

Insurance is a “must have” in most of our lives; however, insurance must be mandatory in the softball/baseball industry. In 2007 Hugh and Faye Cantrell began working with Westpoint Insurance and in particular Angela Carrig Salcido. Under Bill and Kathie Horton, the working relationship with Angela has continued to grow and the trust and transparency that Angela brings to the table is a formula for success.

Staff at the NSA/BPA National Office have also built a solid and trusting working relationship with Angela. But that trust also extends to the Directors and UICs in the field. Angela encourages direct contact with the NSA/BPA field to get answers to questions and insure that forms are properly completed and distributed to all who need these.

Insurance issues can many time be very cumbersome and hard or impossible for the common person to grasp. NSA/BPA staff have come up with ways to make the insurance topics easier to understand and Angela is always willing to listen and work to find a solution that is workable to all.

In her spare time Angela enjoys spending time with her husband Bobby and their 2 daughters – Sydney and Savannah.

On November 8, 2023 Angela Carrig Salcido was inducted into the

NSA-BPA Sports Hall of Fame in the Meritorious Category as a member of the Class of 2023.
