NSA Hall of Fame: Kokomo Park Department / Northwest Park (2021)

The Kokomo Park Department / Northwest Park became a part of the NSA family in 2005 and has been a large contributor to the NSA both on the Zone and National levels. 

Beginning in 2008, the league teams have been sanctioned with NSA and in a normal year they will sanction 100+ adult teams in their summer and fall programs.

Over the years, Northwest Park, Kokomo has been host to 64 – 75 qualifying events including Senior events, numerous State Championships, Regionals, World Series Qualifiers, Super World NIT’s, World Series and Super World Series tournaments.

In 2020 in the middle of the COVID19 pandemic, Northwest Park, Kokomo allowed both the Women’s World Series and Super World Series tournaments to be moved to their park with less than a week’s notice and welcomed our teams with open arms. 

Northwest Park, Kokomo was inducted into the Indiana NSA Hall of Fame in 2013. 

On November 7, 2021 Northwest Park / Kokomo Park Department was inducted into the NSA Sports Hall of Fame in the Meritorious Category as a member of the 2021 Class.
