NSA Hall of Fame: Ron Churchill (2021)

Ron Churchill joined the NSA family in 1994 as one of the fist umpires to work with Michigan NSA Fast Pitch.  Over the years as their program has grown, Ron has been one of the first people to step up not only to become a tournament UIC but to also take on the role of the tournament Director.

Ron has worked many years as an umpire at multiple GFP World Series tournaments at many locations including Ohio, North Carolina, Tennessee and Utah umpiring both Class A and Class B levels.  Ron has worked the last 9 years either as a UIC or UIC/Director at the Northern World Series.

Ron has been recognized for all he has done for the State of Michigan by being inducted into the Michigan NSA Hall of Fame in 2013.

On November 7, 2021 Ron Churchill was inducted into the NSA Sports Hall of Fame in the Umpire Category as a member of the 2021 Class.
