Ed is widely regarded as one of the most influential and respected umpires throughout the South.

He has earned the admiration of his peers with his commitment to fairness, leadership, and
professionalism. 

 

Not only has Ed spent 25 years working with NSA, he has also been a Division I college softball official for 30 years. He has been a part of the B1G, SEC and ACC.

 

In recognition of his extraordinary career and lasting influence, Ed has rightfully earned a place
in the NSA National Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
