Dennis Grah joined the NSA family in 2005 as an umpire in the state of Illinois.  Since joining NSA he has worked numerous Youth State, Border Braggin’ Rights, World Series, GFP Super World Series and Women’s World Series each year.

Dennis is always willing to travel great distances to umpire tournaments for NSA and does this out of his love for the game.  He is an umpire that handles situations on the field in a calm and professional manner and gains the respect of the coaches on the field and his fellow umpires.

Dennis has been the recipient of many awards over the years which include the following:

• 2016 Illinois Hall of Fame member
• 2018 National Fastpitch Umpire of the Year
• Numerous State 110% awards
• Selected for many championship games over the years

On November 7, 2021 Dennis Grah was inducted into the NSA Sports Hall of Fame in the Umpire Category as a member of the 2021 Class.
