Jackie Williams began her NSA softball career in 1997 as a player for the Central Illinois Diamonds 14U team. During her career as a Diamond, she played in many NSA tournaments throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri. Her teams participated in the World Series tournaments finishing third in 2002 in Virginia and also traveled to Henderson, NV to play in the NSA Girl’s Fast Pitch Super World Series.
Jackie was a three sport athlete at Urbana High School competing in volleyball, basketball and softball. She earned ten varsity letters during her career, four in softball. In 2003, she earned a scholarship in softball to Illinois State University where she played centerfield and won numerous awards both individually and as a team member.
On November 5, 2014, Jacquelyn Williams-Douglas became the first female player inducted into the NSA Sports Hall of Fame in the Player Category.
