NSA Hall of Fame: Mark Balven (2016)

Mark Balven began his career with NSA in 1999 as the Missouri State Adult Director as well as being the owner and director of the Sun Valley Sports Complex. Mark has been a very important director for the NSA with his 100% support of the NSA and BPA programs at his park and recruiting new people to become part of the NSA/BPA family.

In 2002 Mark was nominated and received the National State Director of the Year Award. Mark has served and contributed his knowledge and talent to the National Adult Classification Committee and the NSA Adult Advisory Board.

Mark’s sense of humor and his outspoken personality have touched many and helped make NSA a stronger association.

On November 10, 2016, Mark Balven was inducted into the NSA Sports Hall of Fame in the Director Category.
