NSA Hall of Fame: Mike Ogden (2015)

Michael Ogden has been a very important member of the NSA since 1999. Mike began his career in the men’s slowpitch program and due to his knowledge and leadership was appointed as the Sate SlowPitch UIC in 2006 and later Mike became the Michigan State FastPitch UIC. One of Mike’s many attributes in is passion for teaching the art of umpiring takes great pride in the umpire clinics he conducts. In 2009 Mike was appointed as the Assistant Northern Zone UIC.
Mike has an impressive history of awards that include:
2005 Men’s Class B World Series Outstanding Umpire
2005 Men’s Super World Outstanding Umpire
2005 National Umpire of the Year (Pascuzzi Award)
2012 Northern Zone UIC of the Year
2014 Mike Coppinger UIC of the Year
On November 5, 2015 Mike Ogden was inducted into the NSA Sports Hall of Fame in the Umpire Category.
