1992 marked the year that Kevin Price began his many years of successfully being a part of the National Softball Association as a player, coach, and sponsor. Kevin’s 1992 team Chicago Kings finished 2nd in the NSA “A” World Series, and even though was on the 2nd place team, his stats for that tournament earned him the Most Valuable Player award. That event marked the first of many Championships that Kevin was a part of.
In 1993 his team was 1st at the NSA “B” World Championships, 1998 All-Tournament player at NSA “Major” NIT, Tourney MVP Illinois 40+ State, 1st place 2004 & 2005 “AA” World Series, 2005 NSA “Major” World Series Champions. In 2014 Kevin became active in the 50+ and 55+ programs winning NSA World Championships in 2014, 2017, 2019, and 2022.
Over the years, Kevin played in 117 NSA Qualifiers, States, NITs, and World Tournaments. Of those 117 events 6 were Illinois State Tournaments, 5 Super Worlds, and 6 Senior Worlds.
Once retired from the game Kevin loved, his lifetime batting average was .700 with a senior batting average of .850. Kevin is also on the Board of Directors for the Illinois BPA-NSA Hall of Fame.
On November 6, 2024 Kevin Price became the 17th Player to be inducted into the NSA-BPA Sports Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2024.
