In 2002 Rob Biehl joined the NSA family and his growth has seen him develop into an outstanding Director for the Youth Fast Pitch program. Since 2002, Rob has directed many NSA State tournaments as well as serving as the Umpire-in-Chief at many additional events. In 2022 Rob was invited to be a Director at the NSA North Girls Fast Pitch World Series and was invited back in 2023.
Illinois State UIC Curtis Page sums up Rob in a letter of support for Rob’s induction “Rob as a Director demonstrated a means to handle difficult situations in a cool and collective manner. I have seen him handle upset coaches brilliantly. Rob has a talent to defuse the tension and often have that individual leaving with a smile”. This demonstrates what it takes to be a great Director and one worthy of being in the NSA-BPA Sports Hall of Fame. Rob was inducted into the Illinois BPA-NSA Hall of Fame as a Director in 2016.
Rob and his wife Tami have two sons.
On November 6, 2024 Rob Biehl became the 42nd Director inducted into the NSA-BPA Sports Hall of Fame of the Class of 2024.
