NSA Hall of Fame: Paradise Park (AL) (2012)



Paradise Park located in Boaz, Alabama, opened in the spring of 1996 with four 300’ lighted softball fields with the capabilities to host youth or adult leagues and tournaments.  Beginning in 1997, Paradise Park became strictly an NSA park with both their leagues and tournaments. 

Since opening, Paradise Park has sanctioned over 1000 teams in their youth and adult leagues as well as held over 300 NSA sanctioned tournaments.    They have hosted over 50 state and regional tournaments along with 30 World Series events since their opening.  Paradise has hosted the Seniors Program World Series tournament since its arrival into the NSA.

Paradise Park was presented an award of the merit by the NSA Senior Softball Association in 1999 (it’s debut), 2001 and 2003 as well as receiving a NSA Outstanding Park Award every year since 1997.

On October 25, 2012, Paradise Park was inducted into the Park Category of the NSA Sports Hall of Fame.
