NSA Hall of Fame: Steve Andersen (2018)

Steve Andersen began his career as an NSA Umpire in 1993 in the state of Washington. Steve has not only been a well-respected on field official, but has also served as UIC for Qualifiers, State, and World Series events. His attention to detail and communication ability has served well as Steve is respected by not only his fellow umpires but also teams, players and sponsors.  Steve prides himself on the development of rookie umpires and does this with teaming these newer umpires with veterans.

When presented with difficult game situations, Steve faces these with remarkable patience and admirable tact which is testament of a person who is being inducted into the NSA Hall of Fame.  For the entire time he has been with NSA, Steve has been dependable, efficient, and unfailingly punctual in his duties as both an Umpire and UIC.

Steve and his wife Mary have 2 children Katrina and Nicholas.

On October 30, 2018, Steve Andersen was inducted into the NSA Sports Hall of Fame in the Umpire Category.
